It was a sad day for the people of Dong Village in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Saturday evening, as gunmen shot four people to dead at a mining site.
According to sources, apart from the four men that were shot dead, a woman was also shot but is getting treatment in a hospital. This was confirmed by Emmanuel Dong who is a community leader.
Emmanuel Dong pointed out that the shooting happened around 6 O’clock in the evening.
According to Gabriel Ubah who is the spokesman of the Plateau State Police Command as well as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), the police is aware of the shooting. He also confirmed that four persons lost their lives.
